Originally from Japan, Ryoko Takanashi is a worldwide well-known glass blower master. Graduated from the prestigious Tokyo Glass Art Institute, Tyoko Takanashi elaborates an original and innovative technique of production adding in his pieces’pot colored glass shopsticks with a colorless glass. During the blowing, the material is in fusion and then get soft and light threads that are inspired from prints and fluid lines from traditional japanese kimonos.
The reflection of light emanating from stripes of the designer’s handmade creations brings an intense depth that has seduced the House whom the artist have been working work with since 2011.
