The collection of Gong hanging rails was made on the basis of old China architectural Art. Gong (palace in English) refers to the forbidden city palaces, architectural prowess of the Ming and Qing dynasty (1300-1900). The hanging rails’ wings remind ornamental roofs in raised curves, typical constructions of this period. Dried massive teak bearers have walnut wood finishes : a velvet touch and a regular color. A meticulous selection of teak and a great control of sanding work allow to obtain this result. Design and functional objects, tall sized hanging rails are perfectly made for hanging clothes while smaller sizes are ideal as valet of to expose decorative textile pieces.
