In line with ceramics Cambodian leaves Coco collection, lacquered bowls are made from authentic coconut shells. Each half-shell is finely hand-polished and , covered by coloured lacquer. These two-coloured and random shapes bowls are available in six coloured and can be mixed themselves according to our Maison Mix & Match.
The Maison has always been working with high standard craftsmanship and top-quality workshops for their lacquer objects collections. In Vietnam the lacquer is obtained from the lacquer tree. First it is a raw sap which is , decanted. Each layer is sanded and hand-fashioned under water for a sleek and glossy result. This traditional know-how is a sophisticated and challenging work because of the attention paid to time and drying conditions (2 or 3 months depending on the season).
